The sharpness of his perception and his words are just as famous and feared among musicians as the uncompromisingness in the realisation of his musical demands: György Kurtág is one of the most successful composers in the world since 1945.

Pierre-Laurent Aimard, who always strives for the greatest possible authenticity, met György Kurtág in June 2022 at the BMC (Budapest Music Centre) to work out previously unpublished "Játékok" ("Games") together with him and then record them in the presence of the composer. Included: our "353018", on which this joint photo was taken.
