The Erl Festival dedicated a very special focus to Franz Schubert with a "Schubertiade": Paul Lewis played three Schubert sonatas on each of the four days. His faithful companion and friend at these very special concerts: our "353018"!

Our new piano duo artist was just as moved and happy as the fantastic (!) audience (only one single furtive cough in four concerts is a record!) about "353018": "I didn't have to do anything," confessed Paul Lewis after the concerts, "whenever I had a certain sound in my mind and touched the keys with my fingers, it was already there!"

The magnificent acoustics of the Festspielhaus Erl also proved to be a marvellous helper. The touching sound of the "353018" was able to unfold freely practically everywhere - even behind the curtain, where the scenery for "Mazeppa", an opera by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, were already waiting to be used:
