Journey to the stars

-the timeless-piano-project-

A magic moment cannot be predicted. It emerges from nowhere and disappears just as irretrievably as the light in a black hole. It is neither tied to one place nor to a time. And it is very, very rare.

On the 8th May 2022, the Gustav-Lübcke-Museum in Hamm, Germany, was the scene of such a stellar performance.

At the Klavier-Festival-Ruhr, Till Fellner played the "353018" and led the moved audience out of space and time with Schubert, Schönberg, Mozart and Beethoven. Sometimes it even seemed as if the fellow travellers could marvel at the beauty and sparkle of Vienna from far above and watch its geniuses composing from a distance.

And when Captain Fellner - after a flight time of 90 minutes with his spaceship "353018" - returned to earth, accompanied by the last sounds of the "Waldstein Sonata", the audience was gently lifted from their seats. Standing ovations!
